Kids

I was trying to think of a good day to update this at least weekly...but then I remembered our lives...and how nuts it can get...so I better get on here while I can. Sadie is happy in her highchair for a moment and Ella is eating cereal beside her making her happy. Those 2 are pretty funny together. Nobody can make Sadie laugh like Ella can. There is a really cute pic of them together I will try to get on here today. Sadie is topless in it though, it seems like by our pictures, that she doesn't own any tops, or clothing at all....but she really does....she just pukes a lot...and always seems to be doing something photo worthy in between changes. Go figure!
A quick update of the kids.....
Luke is playing baseball...I will take some pics at his game on Saturday. He is still pretty into baseball...although I noticed some serious sadness after the Suns loss last night...so basketball is coming back. He has played pitcher on his team and short stop...he is a good fielder and quite a little hitter. He practices ALOT. Even when he isn't outside or at the park..he is swinging an imaginary bat as he talks to you. What a kid. Seth and I were checking him out through the kitchen window the other day as he played in the backyard. ( he didn't see us)...and he was practicing throwing at his strike zone we have drawn with chalk on the back wall. He would stand all big and professional looking and then shake his head a few times....then nod and then throw....as if he were communicating with a catcher...only fastballs!!! It was cute.
It is funny how we think he is so big...since he is the biggest kid at our house....and then we see him on the baseball team or at school..and we realize how small he really is.....ahhhh, our Lukey.....
Hope is loving first grade....and reading up a storm....She takes a Hip Hop Dance class once a week....She likes it..but gets a little embarrassed when she has to really shake it...:) Our shy Hopey Girl.....( We are secretly so grateful for this!) She is an amazing artist...she gets that from both sides of Grandparents...not from Seth or I...she can draw so much better than us...and she is only 6!!! We hope to put her in an art class this winter. What a joy she is....
Hey..all of these updates might excuse me from a Christmas letter this year....hmmmm...
On to Ella.....she will be 3 next month..and she is officially potty trained....she has only had 1 accident ( last night at Luke's baseball practice at the park...a pretty good place to pee your pants, if you have to)...She rode home backwards in the double stroller with her tush in the air. I am sure we were quite the sight on the way home!!!!
She is a great big sister...She misses the kids while they are gone...but keeps busy running everywhere with me. She is quite the horse lover....my Dad took her to a horse farm when we visited in Sept. She rode Whisper....who we talk about everyday. She loves that horse at Costco....that you feed the carrot and can sit on....Butterscotch....(thanks Costco!) She is convinced someone will buy if for her. Sorry Mom and Dad....that's what you get for spoiling her! :)
Ella makes us laugh everyday..she has a contagious genuine laugh...
She rules the roost over here....but still manages to crack us up and melt our hearts every day. Right now she thinks she is a puppy....and likes to take her food off her plate and put it on the table, put her hands in front of her like a dog and lick the food up. Dad thinks this is funny...Mom does not. The conversation with Ella went like this...
Mom: "Ella, use your fork please..and leave your food on the plate."
Ella: " But I am a puppy." ( continues to lick her food up)
Mom: Ella, stop it....that is gross and you are NOT a puppy.
Ella: But,Mom, I am a puppy.
Mom: Ella, knock it off!....eat your food properly, or you are going to be in trouble"
Ella: " pauses.........................RUFF!!!!!!

That is life with Ella.....:)

I better update Sadie quick..she is ready for a morning bath. She has had an ear infectiona dn a cold..very congested. She got Ella's cough...gee I wonder how that happened with Ella coughing 2 inches from Sadie's face....???????? We feel so bad as she stuggles to breathe......poor thing.
Prayers would be appreciated for her. We are hoping not to have to do the ear tube surgery like we did with Ella....but we will if we need to.
Sadie is a happy smiley baby almost always.....she wakes up smiling...and grins so big and toothless.....we love it! She is over 17lbs now....I am always amazed when she gains weight...cause she "spits up" SOOOO much!
I better run...that is all the kids...1, 2 ,3 4, ...that is what I am saying in my head everywhere we go...hoping I haven't lost anybody.....sheesh!

love to all!
