I am a bad blogger

You know it's bad when you can't remember your password to log in and update your blog....that about sums up the week had by me around here. I'll spare you the deets and tell you how everyone else in the family is doing....
Seth is done with tax season....woo hoo! and...oh, crap.... all at the same time. With losing so much business...we were very grateful for the extra work and income tax season brought with it this year.....We are hoping for some new business here soon.
He has also decided for the last few weeks...he is a vegetarian. A grumpy one, at that. The man needs some protein!!! He is hoping to lower his cholesterol....he will be tested in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
Luke is 3 and 3 in his baseball season, barely losing to the DRays today.10-8. He played well...but is always so hard on himself...he is his own toughest critic, that is for sure. Linda assures me that Seth was this way....and grew out of it...so here's hoping. It was a hot day today...I got sunburned....but I still had fun cheering on my boy. It is so exciting and nerve racking, and fun!!! Competition doesn't always bring out the best in me...and I know I could be better in helping Luke deal with the stresses of team sports. Today, he came to me, and told me that one boy on his team kept shouting at him that he was supposed to cover second...( no play at the time)..Luke acknowledged him, and he wouldn't stop. So, what does the good example parent suggst he tell the team mate. "Tell him to shut his pie hole, he's not your coach!"
Luke seemed satisfied.

yep, no Mother of the year award here.

Hope had her last soccer game this morning....with Dad as her fabulous coach. They had a great season and all wanted Seth to coach again in the fall. Hope really improved over the season, and is one heck of a defender...that now scores a goal every game. go Hope!!!
She had some friends out shopping today and then over for a little American Idol on the Wii...good times. I am still planning on posting a pic of her in her new glasses, but I lost the camera.
Ella finished up her soccer season as well today. She pretty much hated it. She loves her trophy and the snacks that follow the game. Maybe T'ball in the fall. She only has a month left of preschool and then begins swim lessons again! She is so funny, I am so glad I get her home for another year!!! What will Sadie do with her???? She runs and embraces her when she is gone to ballet...
What will I do????
Miss Sadie....she has had a rough week. I am assuming she is teething....the last of her teeth are coming in. She has been difficult and demanding....hopefully teething and not just the terrible 2's around the corner. She is talking so much more, and can count to 4. ( very sweetly I might add)...gotta love baby pronounciation..... She is the official dancer of any and all music at our house....we love it!

we are blessed.....

It sounds as though we went to the same mothering school when it comes to sports. I love it!! Warren and I have been on a fruit/vegi diet for 7 days now. I will NEVER, NEVER be a vegitarian. I have lost 7 pounds though. It's not worth it. I NEED MEAT!!!

You win Mother of the year in my books! Dene's birthday is in Nov. so I got to have her home for that extra year too...I think it is better to be one of the oldest instead of the youngest.

That was so fun to read. What a neat family! I can totally picture you saying "Shut your pie hole!" I'm laughing. Good luck with the veggie eater. Next he's going to have the Steve Nash hair...wouldn't that be sweet!

You crack me up! Especially the "pie hole" comment. I love reading your posts, and I love how down to earth and real you are in your writing.

I love reading your posts. They always make me laugh. & I don't think I want a mother of the year award if i can't say 'shut your pie hole!' ;)
